At a timely moment in our nation’s history, the team at Breakaway is proud to showcase the creative, powerful, and iconic imagery created by one of our own - Chuck Seelye, Creative Director.
Designed in-kind for tomorrow’s Women's March on Washington After-Party (#930AfterMarch), all proceeds from the event and merchandise depicting Chuck’s iteration of the American flag will directly benefit Planned Parenthood, a nonprofit organization that offers reproductive health services and sexual education across the U.S. and the world.
Hosted by Funny or Die and D.C. venue the 9:30 Club, the event will feature The National, Sleater-Kinney, Tig Notaro, Janeane Garofalo, Ted Leo and Senators Al Franken and Cory Booker – just to name a few.
In Chuck’s words, “What started as a favor for an old friend has become the icon for a movement…kinda nice when things work out that way.”
His friend? Liana Huth, VP of Programming Innovation at Entercom, one of 9:30’s key organizers, and a #boss.
